Work In Progress – Sexy Orc Concept

This is a WIP based on a sketch I shared earlier. I started the piece in Corel Painter 12, focusing on the initial forms and brushwork, and I’m now adjusting colors and tones in Photoshop to refine the mood and overall balance.

Still a lot to do, but it’s always interesting to revisit earlier sketches and see how far you can push them. More updates soon.

Facepalm – Lunchtime Sketch Experiment

Another quick lunchtime piece, this time with a clear goal in mind: keep the palette limited and stick to just two of my favorite brushes in Corel Painter 12—the Soft Oil Pastel and the Real 2B Brush.

It’s always a good exercise to reduce your tools and focus more on composition, gesture, and mood. This one came together quickly, but I like the constraint. Might try more of these focused sketches soon.

Shark Dash – Latest Game Project

Shark Dash is the most recent game I’ve worked on. I contributed a couple of illustrations that appear at the start of the game, helping to set the tone and visual identity right from the beginning.

It’s a fun, casual title now available on iPhone, iPad, and Android.

Always great to be part of a project where illustration plays a key role in welcoming players into the world.

From Warsaw to Łódź and Poznań – A Short Trip Through Poland

I recently had the chance to travel through Poland, visiting Warsaw, Łódź, and Poznań—three cities that offered very different but equally rich experiences.

Warsaw surprised me with its contrast between modern architecture and restored historical sites. There’s a strong creative energy in the city, and I found a lot of inspiration just walking its streets, from bold murals to quiet, reflective public spaces.

Łódź was another highlight. Grittier in feel but full of personality, it has a raw charm I really enjoyed. The Off Piotrkowska area stood out—artistic, a bit chaotic, and definitely alive. Great food, great people, and a lot of visual textures that stuck with me.

Finally, Poznań had a calmer, more classic atmosphere, with beautiful old town squares and a strong sense of local culture. It was the perfect place to slow down before heading home.

It wasn’t a long trip, but it left a strong impression. Poland is full of contrasts and character, and I’ll definitely be back.

Alien Concept – Photoshop CS6 Experiment

Here’s an alien concept I worked on while testing out the new features in Photoshop CS6.

This was more of an exploration than a finished piece—playing with brushes, textures, and some of the new controls to see how they’d affect the process.

A good reminder that trying out new tools can often lead to unexpected design directions.

Quick Landscape Study – Cancelled Game Concept

This is a quick landscape research and mood study created for a game project that was eventually cancelled.

It was painted in Photoshop, focusing on broad shapes, atmosphere, and lighting to define the overall tone of the environment.

Even when projects don’t make it to release, these early explorations are always a valuable part of the process.
